The history of Bud Racing and Team Kawasaki Bud Racing
1995
Stéphane and Sébastien Dassé joined forces with Philippe Dartiailh alias "Bud", GP rider Yves Demaria’s mechanic, in May 1995 to create the company Bud Racing. Everything starts in the family garage, in Seignosse, South West of France, motocross suspensions and engines tuning begins, everything remains to be done!
From the start, famous riders trusted the small team, just as Thierry Bethys, top French rider.
1998
The company moves to the famous Zone Pedebert in Hossegor, stronghold of all the head offices of World Surfing!
1999
The first Bud Racing technical parts come to the market: the anodized cylinder heads and triple clamps delight tuners and lovers of beautiful parts.
2007
Creation of Team Bud Racing in collaboration with Kawasaki, Marvin Musquin and Loïc Rombaut race the 250 KXF Bud Racing in the European 250 Championship. Marvin Musquin will finish 4th in the European Championship that year and French Supercross 250 Champion.
2009

Rockstar joins the ranks of Team Bud Racing, we will find the famous yellow star on the Team's motorcycles for a few seasons.
2012
Creation of Bud Racing USA: Bud Racing sets out to conquer the American market and is based in Lake Elsinore, right next to the famous Motocross track where hundreds of amateur or professional riders meet!

2013
James Stewart creates the SEVEN MX racegear brand, linked to Troy Lee Designs, Bud Racing being the official TLD distributor at the time, distribution of this new premium brand begins in Hossegor.

2014
Relocation of the company to larger premises, still in Hossegor, Bud Racing has taken over the walls of a former Intermarché! No more no less ! In addition to the offices, the workshop, the Team and the huge stock, a 300m2 store / showroom was created to the delight of local riders but also of many tourists who come on pilgrimage to Hossegor, which becomes, after being a Surf Mecca, a Motocross Mecca.

The Team is already celebrating 10 years of partnerships and success with Kawasaki! For the anniversary, an exceptional comparative test between Marvin Musquin's 2007 bike and the Team's 2017 KXF 250 is organized the day after the French GP in Ernée! 10 years of technological evolution, the riders, testers and the media are amazed!

The offer is diversifying and Beach Cruiser type electric bikes are appearing in the catalog.
April 1st : It was not an April Fool's Day, not at all! The opening of the Bud Racing Training Camp in Magescq, in the Landes, is the culmination of several years of work which has allowed the creation of one of the largest Motocross and Enduro complexes in France and Europe.
